What do i need?

SafetyGPS consists of two parts: the Control Panel of this page and the program you install on your mobile. From either of the two parties can see the position of your friends and send messages among other things. 

The system should work in any country, because all you really need is Internet access from mobile phones, in fact, SafetyGPS has users in many countries. 

The program SafetyGPS need a phone with Internet access. This is very important because if not, you will pay a bonus to your operator. The internet access will depend on your carrier and it is advisable that you request a flat fee like anyone who used to read e-mail and normally around 12 €. 

To use SafetyGPS is necessary for now, a Windows Mobile 5.0 or higher. Soon will be available for iPhone, Blackberry and Nokia. If your phone has Windows Mobile 5.x will need an auxiliary file that you can find in the downloads section. If your phone has Windows Mobile 6.x, you only need to install the program SafetyGPS. All these files can find it in the downloads section. 

The downloads section will appear in the main menu of this website once you register as a user.

It is not mandatory that the mobile has an integrated GPS, you can use a GPS connected via bluetooth. In fact you do not need GPS in any way and that, even without GPS can still use the messaging service.
